I was going to go through allotment dig today (y) but there has been a collapse  at the end were the piece of wood is over the void.
All the rails are caked with thick muddy soup  :mad:this is from the horizontal drilling.
If any one is going to start digging the collapse and wants some help just let me know.
Can any one tell me what the void is  as it goes down a long way is it the search for the continuation of coffin hole :-\ or am i well out of date please let me know.

I don't think any digging in that hole has been done for a very long time.

From the last time I was there it was still possible to do the through trip to flag pole from there.

I'll take a look when I get down at the weekend.

Due to injury I won't be caving again for a fair while so if any feels like digging it out then go for it, just be careful of the roof!

I hope your injury was not related to the dig, we don't really want to jeapodise the Olympics by broadcasting that water sports are detrimental to British speleology (we are still good at that) - or do we??.
All my sympathy, I know all too well what injury can do to a spelio.
