Cow Pot in wet weather

I've read the guidebook weather warning relating to Cow Pot. Do any local experts think it'll be too wet based on Tuesday's or Wednesday's forecast?

It’s going to be raining, especially on Wed. I can’t see how it sumps on the normal route, but the big pitch gets very wet. If you are worried then also rig the Lancaster entrance, this will prevent you needing to go to Wretched Rabbit to avoid embarrassment.

Back in the days when we used to walk up from Barbon to avoid the grown ups who were allowed to have things called “permits”, my wife and I used it as a less popular route in to the system when we were first exploring it. I have fond memories of trying to come up with different ways of climbing the rift at the bottom of the squeezy bit. A short ladder being the best in the end.

I don't think that Devious Route takes any water. Does anybody know anything differently?
For which you need to read the new guidebook (you go down before you get to the big hole). it’s not on the CNCC website or topo. Doing the original alternative (Sneaky, other side of big hole) is “interesting“ and has slight struggle at a pitch head for non-midgets.

Although it goes on about the SRT on the website, that is generally the least of your problems. It’s about the same as rigging Rowten main pitch into the rift.

I seem to remember the access passage to the main pitch being well above water level, but I may be wrong, which is why I was asking for a second opinion. It's a very straightforward route.
