CS Rack - replacement bars

As I understand that CS no longer make racks does anyone know if the Petzl spare bars will fit to replace the worn ones on the CS model?

Petzl rack bars do not quite fit CS rack frames unfortunately though there might be scope for making them fit with small modifications.

I bought the very last couple of CS rack bars from Mr.Brown a few years ago. When they wear out I intend to try making replacements as I have access to a lathe and other machine tools. Can anyone advise whether run-of-the mill aluminum will be okay?
