Can anybody recommend a descent B AND B for ingleton child friendly
want to go up 24th feb for the weekend and i need a good place for the wife and
2 year old son so i can escape for caving and still keep her happy

Not B&B but those 'log cabins' on the edge of Ingleton aren't too bad.

I think you have to book for minimum of 2 nights and they are more cost effective if you share one with some friends.

Bog you could try speaking to ingleton tourist information they may be able to recommend a B &  B

Not sure about 'child friendly' but stayed at Riverside Lodge a couple of years ago - it was good and given the chance would return. Phone number 01524241359

Not quite Ingleton but what about JJ's place - The Dalesbridge Centre, it's at Austwick just outside Clapham. Not too far from Ingleton and much nearer the  Gamecock  :beer:

you should get good deal at this time of year
they have a little boiler room which is really good for drying your gear

Seed Hill guest house is really nice ... and right opposite Inglesport/Bernie's.

The youth hostel is also very child friendly - they have kids of their own and it's right next to the park.
