Dalimores on Sat

Tried to do Dalimores on sat morning only to find that fairly early on in the entrance a squeeze had filled up with silt and cobbles after the recent rain, unfortunately we wern't expecting this and after a few scoops with our hands we gave up...but still needs digging out if anybody is feeling up to it.

I fear that there will not be a rush to visit this fine  cave with a view to digging it out.
Perhaps somebody may get lost on a Wednesday evening and end up at the wrong dig though. We can but hope.  :-\

We must have spent an hour in Dallimores this Saturday trying to get through the first squeeze, and I've got some bruises to show for it.

It was a bit dispiriting to get back out and find that according to Mendip Underground it wasn't even considered a squeeze, so it's good to see that someone else couldn't get through! I was beginning to wonder whether my caving skills had entirely left me or if we'd gone down the wrong cave.

I'll have a go at digging it out one of these weekends unless someone else gets round to it first.

Does anyone know if the entrance to this is still blocked up??  Trying to think of alternatives for tomorrow if Swildons is still not a go-er, which it looks like it probably won't be.
