Our October/November issue will be Descent 300 - a major landmark, which we plan to celebrate in style. As part of the celebrations, we have teamed up with the QI Elves - the writing/researching team behind comedy panel show QI, and hosts of the podcast No Such Thing As A Fish - who will be judging a competition for us. To enter, please send us an email or private message by 1 July 2024 with a 'quite interesting' fact (or several facts; there is no limit on how many entries you can send) about underground exploration. The best entries will be published in Descent 300 and the overall winner, as chosen by the QI Elves, will receive a prize - a Fenix HM70R light, kindly donated by Starless River, and two nights for two people at Greenclose House, kindly donated by the Northern Pennine Club.
