Detective Work, Which Explorer Presented This Very Old Book

[Prince of Darkness]

Came accross an unusual little book dating from about 1875 it has an account of the exploration of a cave in Lebabon called the Nahr el Kelb or Nahr el Kalb or Dog River Cave also known as the Jeita Cave. The Presentation sticker inside the front cover shows it was presented by BMB RMB ? anyone any ideas ? One suggestion was Richard F Burton (famous explorer not the actor!)

i think it might be BNB - if you look at where the dots are...but i have no idea who it would be!
