DIY Lamp Switch

Hi, i'm wondering what those of you who have DIY'd your own lamps have used for switches.  I have bought (but not yet tested) a piezo switch.  I'm not yet sure how it will work with the maxflex board I have, or how it will work in a cave environment (ie mud and water). In theory getting it caked in mud shouldn't be an issue, but running water "hitting" the pressure switch may trigger it??

What have others used? It needs to be waterproof (IP68+?) so that it can handle small sumps, but ideally i'd like it more waterproof so that it would be dived on.

Has anyone used/seen where to buy (for cheaps..) wireless switches perhaps? (not reed switches as they're magnetic..)

Any other ideas?
