Hey folk,
I wish I knew how to give you a link to this product or post a photo but as I'm still driven by steam I'm afraid I can't! (maybe someone could help me here?)
It's probably a pile of shite, but it was only 4 quid so thought it worth a try!
While in Boyes the shop today buying gloves for work I spotted in the hardware section a Drill powered pump. It's made by a company called Blackspur and they claim it can lift water 4 metres.
Thought I'd pay my money and take my chances as while digging we often have drills with us to help negotiate with obstructions encountered en-route.
Its only fag packet size and has hose pipe 'bore'
Digging this weekend coming in a surface dig that may need de-watering before we can get down into the nitty gritty. So going to put it through it's paces.
Anyone any experience with these little fellas?

Looks a handy bit of kit but as they say the proof is in the pudding!
