Dropped! Petzl Shunt in Eyam Dale House Cave.

If anyone finds a shunt at the bottom of the entrance pitch of EDHC it's mine but you're probably welcome to it. It fell 20m bouncing and clattering all the way down so I'm not sure it's still viable.

Good trip despite the loss of shunt and ripping my suit on the top of the ladder.

Nothing to do with the Shunt i'm afraid...but as its a cave i've never visited...
Whats it like? What kit do I need? Whats the situation with regards to asking for access (isn't it in the gardens of a house or something similar?)
Always looking for a new mid-week trip so would be interested to hear about it!

On second though, it wsn't Bob who told me the story - it was somebody else (Bill Whitehouse). While there was a dig going on in EDHC he heard loud noises in an adjacent passage. Thinking there were others there he went to have a look but the passage was empty! When he returned to his original location, the noises started again...
