Ease Gill Caverns survey - Sheet 4

In Ingleton yesterday and saw that both Bernies and Inglesport now have in stock the newly published Red Rose C.P.C. Ease Gill Caverns Survey - Sheet 4 which completes the series.
It covers Far Series right up to Top Sink and with all the minor entrances in the gill, and it comes with their usual excellent descriptive guide.

Great work chaps  in what I know has been a long long project  - and it really looks good.

Excellent news - one for the shopping list.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to resurvey the rest of Easegill (i.e. the Link, Pippikin part of it)?

From the red rose website:

Sheet 4 now published

The fourth and final part of the Ease Gill Caverns Survey ?Top Sink to Holbeck Junction? is now published and represents the culmination of of years of work by the Red Rose Cave and Pothole Club. The survey is drawn by Ray Duffy.
This A1 sheet is produced in two colours and includes the Wretched Rabbit entrance series, Pool Sink, The Borehole and Boundary Pot plus all of the minor entrances in the area.

So I guess that if it hasn't already been done, then its not gonna!

Hi

Yes there are plans by the RRCPC to complete the system (Link/Pip/Mistral etc. as well as BPOW)

It is very much a case of work in progress.

I've been looking forward to getting my hands on sheet 4. Anyone know if/when they might land in the Peak District, namely HnH?
Good work guys, I look forward to a trip up that way in the new year.

On a related note.. anyone know if Sheet 2 is back in circulation yet? I've been trying to get hold of a copy for the last 3 years, but there have never been any available when I've asked...

Chatting to someone in the know about such things last night and he said they are being reprinted. Though I can't recall when he said this would happen, sorry.

Hi Cat

I think an updated version of Sheet 2 is on its way to the printers and should be available shortly.

Thanks Beardy, that's great news. I look forward to getting myself a copy - along with Sheet 4 of course! I was rather excited when I spotted it up on the wall of BPF a few weeks ago.. :)
