A walk in Easegill Valley appears to show flood levels much the same as Storm Desmond!
Top Sink-water had gone down the "dry oxbow" out side and overflowed into the hole(2m x2cm deep steam
County Pot to within 0.5 of the lid ie of the Easegill beck out side
Link Pot and Misteral Pot fine
However the dam at the Crumbles it had just got to almost the top (now a bit higher) this did not exist much in Desmond Storm so will have reduced flooding NB The Crumbles is open but banking at its "natural original state as in 1970"
2 big landslips near Cow Dubs +one near the Borehole
Cow Pot (near Lancaster Hole) very high flood marking on banks of the tiny steam worth a look if you dismiss rain!!
How high are the flood markings underground ?? or did it have longer to "back up " or more rain
with Desmond Storm??
