F**ing hopeless pot in the wet.

Hey all.

I have booked a trip on the CNCC last week for tomorrow down this cave, but I don't know how it responds to the wet, being a new discovery and all. Does anyone who know, i.e. those involved with digging it know how badly or not it responds to the wet? I note it says moderate wet on the CNCC, and there's little forecast tomorrow, but I would rather not drive up and find it flooded, or worse that it delay floods.

Thanks in advance

It's fine Alex. We've been down throughout winter in all conditions. The wettest we had was the stream running 100mm deep along the crawl but it was still passable and it was about the only trip where we all emerged clean. If it was really bad you might turn around at the Ironmongers Choke. It can spurt in from all angles at the lower bit. having checked the forecast i'm sure you won't have a problem on Sunday.. Enjoy the trip.
