Several people I cave with have Fenix lights which seem OK, but I?m concerned about the run times and power drop off.
I?ve currently got a mine explorer cap lamp insert which is very bright, (when I can get it to go onto high power - seems to be a battery problem).
Rude Nora seems to use the same Cree LED as the Fenix, but I?m aware that the electronics driving it and battery pack will make a big difference.
I?ve never seen a Rude Nora on a trip with a Fenix to compare. I know there is a substantial price difference, but I?m getting older, and I like it bright in a cave!
So thoughts please from you lovely caving folks!
