I have just been told i can get rid of the bits from some old hang-gliders that are clogging up the club stores.

Basically there are a load 2" diameter aluminium poles from 3' to 18' long and 5 large sheets of waterproof material. If anyone has a use for that stuff in a dig and is prepared to collect it from Nottingham, then post here.

I'd be happy to take it off your hands. It can go into stock at Hucklow Digging Supplies and be re-distributed to the Peak District (or wider) digging fraternity in due course.

When do you need rid of it by?

:-\ Havent got a definate deadline, but some time in the near future would be good.

I would suggest sometime during the weekend 17/18nov or 1/2dec or any weekday evening you can come over during the next couple of weeks.

Many thanks to Charlie for helping me load this stuff last night. Got home after a very wet drive - I really ought to seal some of the holes in the floor of the Landrover!

The poles are a bit too lightweight to use for dig support, IMHO, but I'm sure they will come in useful for something. Super-lightweight maypole, anyone?

Nick.
