I am writing this on behalf of two of our caving club members. Some of you may know brothers Keith and Rob Thomas, some of you may also know that Rob was involved in a very serious accident some months ago and subsequently has been in hospital ever since.

As a result of his injuries Rob now has to learn to walk, talk and move his arms again. This may takes years of specialist care.

This weekend Keith is organising and participating in a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre Bristol, the current home of his brother. Funds raised are for this ward to purchase gym equipment aimed at assisting Rob's treatment and other patients to get them back on their feet again.

The fund raising walk of about 20 miles and 5000' of ascent crosses over three prominent peaks around Abergavenny in Monmouthshire: Blorenge, Sugar Loaf and
Skirrid.

If you would like to contribute to sponsoring Keith or make a donation to the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre Bristol please PM for details.

Many thank
Jenny
