FX2 - Details

Does anyone know what the technical voltage ratings, capacity etc of an FX2 lamp is? I've picked up an old one with a charger and can't work out if it is all working correctly.

The FX2 uses 2xNiCd F-Cells, I think the capacity when new is roughly 7Ah.
The nominal voltage is 2x1.2 = 2.4V, though it may be a bit higher than that when freshly off charge and not loaded.

I think I was perhaps ambitious thinking it was a 12Ahr cell!
