Gaze Gill/Batty Cave

Did Gaze Gill a long time ago.  As far as I remember it was a shortish oxbow-type cave with a wet crawl and a low chamber where daylight could be seen.  There were a few smaller caves in the same little gorge.  Never done Batty Cave;  I don't think there was any access when I was active in the area.

After a very wet morning in Yordas we opted for a run in the afternoon instead. Will save them for another time.

Stu, they're ok if, like me, you find out-of-the-way caves interesting.  Plus, at gaze Gill, there's always the possibility that you might come across a little cave that nobody's been in before.  It's also a pleasant little gorge for wandering around in.

Gaze Gill is worth a visit if you're in the area, unfortunately short though so best tied in with something else - an extension to a visit to Heron or something like that.
Not done Batty Cave yet.
