Does anyone know what ropes are required to do Giggel Rav Pot. Also does anyone happen to know what anchors are installed.

Basically any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you looked through the BPC bulletins? Probably find some information in there - bca library says 1991.

Given the time it was explored I would of thought that if any anchors were installed they would be spits.

Hope that helps!

As one of those involved in opening Giggel Rav, I  would suggest that it is hardly worth a visit (unless you are a collector of obscure trips),

It constitutes merely a very  low and wet section of immature stream passage which is the continuation of the upstream section of Brackenbottom Pot on its way to Gavel Rigg where the stream sinks.

Brackenbottom Pot on the other hand is considered well worth a trip...

Thanks for the info lads. I spoke with Russ last night and he told me just to take a 10M ladder.

As I will be going in Brackenbottom this weekend I was considering having a look but your description is not inspiring me Scoff ;)

Thanks again
