Good weather caves?

Re Mossdale: We dug out the stones blocking the way on the slope leading up to High level mud caverns and the slope into the final stream end cave last weekend, so that's accessible, water was very low. So provided the weather is stable, that's a good idea. The drown and glory duck does not even require you to take your helmet off now. The sump to Stream end cave is open with about 3 inches of airspace.

Of course be very careful now it's summer with the random chance of thunderstorms so early morning and fast trips rather than long all day trips would be my recommendation in this cave as the chance of thunderstorms increase as the day goes on.

We are getting in the zone where you can get some pretty bad cloudbursts in the Dales, so I would think carefully how long since you last saw the sky when doing something very flood prone. Best to go early in the day. I think it is actually the worst time of year because of this.
