Just seen this, looks like Masson Lees quarry and area is up for sale. A snip at £275000!
Any one local got some change down the back of the sofa?

Has been on the market for several years. I think it failed to sell at auction a couple of times.

What a funny write-up, especially this line:

The sizeable portion of land benefits from exceptional views of the nearby Peak District National Park and excellent roadside access.

The 'nearby PDNP' is only to the west of the quarry, so the views of that from there are pretty unexceptional really. Matlock and Matlock Bath aren't in the PDNP. As for the 'excellent roadside access' - well, that chestnut's been discussed on here many times, with the general consensus being that it's anything but excellent. I wonder if the clay-pigeon shooters are also included as part of the package?
