Hartington Moor Farm Adit

My copy of COPD doesn't include this mine but I believe a later edition says to call at the farm for permission. Is that still the case?

No mention there, perhaps I just invented that requirement in my head

I went on a PDHMS trip into there a few years back and permission was gained in advance from the nearby farm, whether this was just a courtesy call or actually required I don't know.

Possibly the same trip I was on and where I got that idea from. I suppose unless anyone has the number of the farm they can PM me it's just a case of rolling up on the day.

I just leg it over the field. There are bats in there in winter, but then most mine adits in the county have them.  Do watch yer feet though as there are some pretties on the floor - I seem to remember some nice cave pearls.
