I used to cave in South Wales many years ago.

I'm trying to remember the name of a cave North east ? of Swansea.

Its a bit touristy with a very wide entrance which is 10 feet high and stream running out of it all year round.

Its not been developed like Dan-yr-Ogof but is accessed but walking uo a steep path from a minor road.

Any ideas ?

:)

Hi Rhys,

YES YES YES

Its part of my family heritage and I want ny daughter to visit it !

I'm 64 so my caving days are over, but my memory of my visit and experiences with are still very very clear !

You are a hero !

There even exists a sprightly eighty-three year old who not only caves but still contemplates cave diving.  Mind he is a tad slow, as in even slower than me  ::)

WHY? - There are plenty of old crocks still going underground every week

Indeed, our Caving Club secretary is the wrong side of 60 and still caves extensively - Alderley Edge Copper Mines two weeks ago and Watergrove Sough next week.

A friend who only started mine exploring when aged 61, decided to limit himself to 100 foot shafts after he reached the age of 75 (with two hip replacements) because he was finding the prussicking getting a bit difficult. He's 82 now and its only being the full time carer for his very ill wife that stops him continuing to venture underground.
