Having taken on the task of organising the Christmas dinner for the MCG
, when the numbers reached 50 mouths to feed on the night at the cottage i bailed out of cooking big time and instead found a fantastic alternative to spending the day peeling veg (meaning i could go caving - naturally)......
The Castle of Comfort pub (priddy 01761221321) came to my rescue. They provided a very reasonably priced buffet with high quality meats, cheeses, salads, etc etc . all well presented ( and lots of it!)
i approached them a few weeks before and asked as it is not a standard service, ordered it in advance and collected it all laid out platter stylie on the afternoon of the party. :bow:
leaving me plenty of time to sample the beer!
