How do I?

With the old format, I could BCC a copy of my PM to myself. That option seems to have gone. Or is there a way I can email the all of the PM exchange to myself?

Yes. Doing that does not seem to work when I tried it. I suppose I coud create a 2nd ukCaving account and send it to that address. But it seems to me that the PM system has given up both CC and BCC facility, shrinking it to the logical TO.

I don't understand why you need to CC or BCC yourself. If you click on 'show all' every PM conversation you ever had is there. For me anyway, it is in date order and by title. There are a few filter options too.

Because I like to keep a record on my PC of correspondence I have had, be it PMs or email or what ever. A quirk of mine perhaps. If the answer is no, then I can approach it from a different direction.

Yes the record is there, but as I said, I like a copy on my PC where it is searchable if I want to check on something I have said (or alleged to have said). The BCC function gave me a means which was easy to implement. I guess the refined question is can you confirm that CC and BCC functions have gone from the PM facility? If so, I will work out a means of achieving my desired aim another way.

Your data storage requirements must be sizeable!

Another question, where did you bcc to? an email address?

Eh yes at 2.4 TB. But photos take up around 1000 GB and BCA & NCA stuff occupying 320 GB, of which 270 GB is related to rope testing data. I run a 4 TB external hard drive to my lap top and have a 6 TB back up on a separate machine. I (think) I have kept every thing related to NCA & BCA since 2000.

Yes I used to BCC my PMs to my name / Email address. I guess that is why the new look forum ignores the inclusion of my own name in the TO line. I have found I can copy and paste from Conversations so that looks as how I will have to go in the future.

I guess the software writers didn't consider this a need. Anyway I'm pleased you have found a solution.
