there was enough water going down Bitch Pitch on Sunday that it was lubricating rubble so that rocks were flowing down the pitch as well as water.
Standing on the ledge by the last rebelay, there was everything from gravel to breeze blocks going down the pitch as well as the stream.
Assuming this is either due to the rubble from the collapse at the top of the pitch or the amazing amount of water (or both) it will presumably stop flowing, but probably worth a quick check for loose rocks balanced on the ledge for the next people to go down

Has there been any update on this, and is JH now back to the regular access arrangements now that Bitch Pitch has been reconstructed?

Hoping for a trip on the 28th...

back to normal access arrangements.
one of us went down last weekend and it was ok. It was probably just the large amounts of water going down the pitch. Best avoid this weekend as well
