Jim Eyre Cartoons Raise ?1534 for CRO

A great night was had last Saturday at the New Inn Clapham, where many cavers and friends gathered to celebrate Jim?s life. The inn was packed for the auction and Dave Ryall did a fantastic job in auctioning a large selection of Jim?s cartoons. Thank you Dave. Total raised on the night was ?1534 which his brother Ron has forwarded on to the Cave Rescue Organisation.
Thanks also to the New Inn for providing supper, and to all of you who gave so generously on this special night in remembrance of Jim.

Earlier in the day, high above the fog in glorious sunshine, Jim?s ashes were scattered by his friends in and around Easegill, giving Jim one last trip through the system.
