This years Jrat digging awards for Mendip & Scotland finds over 50m in length. Deadline for submissions 4th Nov.

4 of those 5 painted by Mark "Gonzo" Lumley - originally they didn't expect to award it every year, but most of the last 14 the entry minimum has been well exceeded (first 10 years averaged over 1 mile of new passage between the digs)

Yep, Stock Hill Mine Cave with 109m, 2nd was Longwood Valley Sink at 90. Both did presentations, along with Quantocks & Stainsby's Shaft
