Keeping it real

Just so you know who is running this show?..

?The NLAWs have been so effective that Boris Johnson and Volodymyr Zelensky have been joking about them. Ukrainians pronounce them ?N-love? rather than ?N-law?. According to reports over the weekend, the Ukrainian president sang ?All you need is N-love,? to the tune of the Beatles song, down the phone to the Prime Minister. Ukrainian forces have also apparently been saying ?God save the Queen? as they fire the weapons. The NLAWs have a range of 800m, which means operators can fire them and scarper before the armour has a chance to respond?

I mean, mostly Putin? Everyone else is just reacting.

Who are you suggesting (because while the UK is less irrelevant in this conflict than most other international things, it still can't compete with the US, or the EU when it actually presents a united front)?

The leaders of the Baltics, Nordics and Poland are in London today to meet with Johnson before he goes to Saudi. This is to discuss defence. I think you will find they regard the EU as a whole to be about as useful as a choccy teapot in this regard. They just had a big EU meeting on it and it was chaos. The EU should stick to polishing its tariff wall, they are good at that.

I can suggest reading some of the German papers if you want some full on mea culpa. Maybe it will fix the EU.
