This just popped up on my insta feed and I wondered what people's thoughts are on it for caving suitability?

Looking at the (enlarged) picture, my first thought was that the maillon rapide to which the chest jammer is attached is aligned at right-angles to the wearer?s body, while modern chest jammers are designed for the MR to be aligned parallel to the wearer?s body. Does this matter?

It apparently has a baricentric attachment point for bags, which is the clincher for me.

Oh is that what the loop is? I wondered what that was for.

I thought it was interesting the way the central maillon was attached. I've not seen it done like that before.
