Lamb and Fox to close

I have some very bad news for all Draenen cavers - the Lamb and Fox is closing at Christmas. 

Brian and Carol are retiring but are not selling the pub on. They will turn it back into their home.

They have been very good to cavers over the years and it will be sad not to be able to call in for a post trip pint and to say hello.

Morgannwg CC are having one last annual do there next weekend so I may have some more news after that.

That's a massive shame. Obviously no-one can run a pub indefinetly and I wish them all the best in their retirement.

The thought of a post draenen pint always made the exit that little bit easier.

Is the Lamb and Fox chamber underneath going to be re-named too?!

The Lamb and Fox is NOT closing

Closure isn't immanent anyway. I went to the Morgannwg annual do at the L&F yesterday and Carol was quite surprised to hear that her pub was going to close! Brian seemed a bit unsure wether or not to close the place. Nothing has been decided as yet but closure is not totally out of the question.
