I.ve carefully read Frogs postings and nowhere can I see the North of England specified.....Neil are you in telepathic communication with Frog??

Perhaps I should have been more homely with suggestions....

Hagg Gill Pot is quite nice....Wharfedale

Look at the 6th post on this thread... and yes, I do see dead people and can read minds, but my wife completely disagrees because I fail to read her mind on a consistent basis.

Hagg Gill is very nice and well hidden because it was discovered after the guidebook was published. I would suggest Strans Gill... but that would be a bit daft!!

Frog - How long have you been caving?

hiya cumbrian neil
im a female frog without a prince :(
i did some caving years ago but it was basically follow your leader stuff and all very safe although we did abseil on figure 8 with lifeline.
this year i was invited to do an srt course with andy sparrow which i did and thoroughly enjoyed.
this spurred me on to actually doing some proper caving. i have hooked up with a couple of groups and get out as much as i can.
just done a rigging course with andy sparrow which again was brilliant fun and taught me a lot.
im also a rebreather diver and have done a cave diving course which took place in an old asbestos mine in south africa. i did down to about 70mtrs. it was ace but apart from hodge close and an old mine in wales i havent done any uk cave diving although i want to if i can find a sherpa :)
