Some of you older cavers may remember Laurie Galpin (fondly or not so)
Laurie died a couple of weeks ago and has donated himself to medical science.
A memorial is to be held next week Simon and Annie wrote.

There will be a gathering at the Miners Welfare Hall ,Abercrave , on Friday the 28 th August at 1 pm ( 1300 ) to remember the life of Laurie Galpin. Could anyone who is attending please let Annie or Simon know to assist in catering. If you are attending please bring photo s or anecdotes to show or tell others and to help build a memory board for his brother Dennis, whom you may remember at Marry s funeral.
