I have one the only noticeable difference I noticed is it does not last quite as long but 4 days underground on its low setting and still with 3/4 left how long do you need it to last before re charging

Not everyone uses their lights on the Low setting... Why spend a lot of money on a light an then run it all the time at Low?

When I was underground last weekend with you Paul, I used my Roy Fellows lamp on low* except for when we were in huge chambers when I cranked it up to max. This saved you and everyone else wearing sunglasses and sunscreen.

[* not ultra low which I used when we stopped for breaks]

I only used the light on low setting when on a four day underground trip, I did have a spare cell in case, however on day trips I swap between power settings as the passage/chamber warrants, for example swildons to use max power not only blinds all around blinds me in the glare back of the rock, GB main chamber I use max power as shows the whole chamber

Trouble is, I know two cavers Paul Wag and Pete Wag, both similar in height, build and close in age. I'm perpetually mixing their forenames up.  :-[ : I'd get me coat if my senile old brain could remember where I put it...
