lighting up a well

most pond lights only have a 5 metre cable so i'm still researching at the moment.

A photo?  It will need to be well lit for that!

Or a long exposure on a tripod-mounted camera.

I understood Roger W's comment, but yours is way too subtle for me.

Apologies, Chocolate fireguard; I guess when Roger said it will need to be well lit to take a photo, I figured that a well as a ?feature? in someone?s kitchen probably would be better with subtle rather than bright lighting, hence if you wanted to take a photo of it ? especially if you needed good depth of field looking down it ? it would need a long exposure, which in turn would need a tripod-mounted camera. Though I suppose one could always use a high ISO setting for a short exposure. Does that make sense?
