Littondale road closure in November

There are signs up warning that the main road in Littondale is to be closed from Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th November. As you drive up the dale the area in question is the narrow section about half a mile past the wiggle in the road where it crosses Sleets Gill, i.e. down dale from Arncliffe. There is an alternative road on the other side of the Skirfare via Hawkswick but it's pretty narrow and if everyone else is using it I can foresee it might not be quick. Maybe easier just to avoid Littondale on those three days?
