looking for maricaibo

I went to the main drain the other day in search of maricaibo but couldnt find it. Is it just downstream of oxbow corner on the true left? I'm guessing it's upstream of the boulder choke. I think i'm going to get some contact lenses cos i cant wear my glasses underground!

The Red Rose website, www.rrcpc.org.uk, has an online guide to easgill and it says the entrance to Maracaibo is 30m upstream from oxbow corner where the roof lowers to stooping height and it is on the true left hand bank as it were. I hope this helps.

So it's not my eyes then. Northern caves says its downstream of oxbow corner which is probably why i didn't find it! I'll have another look in the next dry spell. Thanks for the info.
