• Tony is on holiday until Saturday 20th

This means that the Travelling Shop will be out of action for a week and any inquiries sent to him won't be picked up until he's back.

In the meantime the rest of the Starless River team will be hard at work ensuring online orders are posted out to you all. Thanks everyone.

  • Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Lost - Casio Watch in or around Swildon's Hole on Saturday 11th April 2009

A friend of mine has lost their (expensive) Casio Watch in or around Swildon's Hole on Saturday 11th April 2009.  Their trip involved walking from the Wessex Hut to the cave entrance before taking the Short Dry Way to Barnes' Loop.

Please can you let me know if it turns-up?

Lets hope the owner will soon be crying with a reunited Joy.  :beer2:

Ive text  Chris and spoken to Andy Sparrow (who confirmed the loss as genuine- we had been putting the word out that an expensive casio watch had been found)  he's on the gorge, hope he gets it before he leaves.

Would you believe - having just spoken with the owner, its the 2nd!!! time he's lost this watch...Lucky or unlucky boy ???

Maybe you should loose it again, to save Ken the bother of having to loose it again himself..... :ras:
