Aproximately 3 km ESE OF Boulby mine. Due to the shallow characteristics of this event Boulby mine and the Humber Coastguard were contacted but had no record of any activity in the region, therefore we suspect this is some type of collapse event.

I worked in a gold mine in South Africa years ago and these seismic events happened daily, all from collapse of old mine workings. Any thing over one on the Richter scale could be felt on the surface.
