Mendip weather on-line question!

I'm not really sure how to word this, so here goes. I'm looking to make contact with a club member who can answer questions regarding Mendip's weather station. Basically I need to calibrate a couple of data loggers and was hoping I could come and sit outside the Wessex caving hut for an hour well they log. And then after that check the results against the Mendip weather station, just to make sure that the loggers are on the same page.

Thanks
Sam

anytime, I'm free Friday during the day or evening,  same on Sunday or next week either Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday either during the day or evening.

Literally need to set the loggers running and wait, I'm looking to log for a max of an hour and then will be able to download data and compare with the Mendip weather station.

Thanks
Sam

Could somebody give me some idea of how often mendipweather.org.uk is updated. Whats the lag between the information being updated and placed on the website?

Thanks

the website updates every 10mins, and the data is time stamped in each field. I would'nt trust the temperature at the mo as it may read a little high, the humidity should be ok, and i need to calibrate the barometer to sea level (i think it may be reading absolute currently) Have PM'd you.

Why's that then Bob, I thought that Priddy was abour 900' (ish) A.M.S.L., as marked on an old airchart that I have.

I just wondered?

All meteorological barometers are supposed to be calibrated to show the atmospheric pressure that they would register if they were located at sea level.

I would have thought that it says the rain gauge has failed on the front page of the website would have been a bit of a clue ...  :-\
