It is Hughiepoo's birthday very soon and I want to buy him a new caving light as his 14 LED headlight is about 5 and a half now. My 14 LED headlight is doing better at about 13. I need a new battery for mine, and I am not sure whether to buy Hugh a new headlight or go for something different.
However, if you can do forum advice as part of your shop service can you let me know if headlight stuff is in your shop to save me from having to drive all the way to Cheddar to find out?

We do stock Speleo-technics but don't keep any headlights as such in stock.  We do have the new nickel battery and charger.  The headlight system has become old technology and I don't think anybody starting from scratch is likely to go that way.  The new nova (which we have) is the natural successor to the headlight but our biggest selling light by far is the Duo which we do at a reduced price (?87 instead of ?92).  But of course if you really love him there is always this baby....  http://caveclimb.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=48

Thank you Andy. Bought something secret for Hugh's birthday. Sssshhhh. The shop is very nice. Lots of lovely colourful fleecy soft things in there. I shall be back.

Next time I will remember to change out of my smelly cow poo jeans first!
