My Mum rang me on Friday saying she joined a Charitable organisation Called Mooseheart which is in Winscombe.
One of their Members said that they have Caves under their Site  :-\  They have records of them but have lost the Entrances  :-\
Anyone heard of this ?
Most of the Members are between 80 & 90 is this a case of Dementia

My family have lived in Winscombe since 1969; never heard of caves under Mooseheart. However, that doesn't mean they don't exist. Closest caves to my knowledge are at Sandford Hill and up near Callow Quarry; there's some at Barton, too.

Drive past it regularly.

Weird place - looks like a masonic lodge to me.

Don't know of any caves there, but it is possible. There are cave near-by.

It does sound like a wind up.
There are some springs in the area, I think they were known as Five Springs,
I walked it once but could not find them.
Treemonkey used to live in the area untill recently.

No caves that side of the hill, I've walked around there a few times.

It is a masonic lodge. Perhaps there could be something there, even if it only like Yarberry Fissure (see the Complete Caves of Mendip) which is nearby.

I spoke to my Mother today she said the man who spoke about the Cave said there was plans describing a large Cave with Formations Which now have been lost  :-\
I've asked her to get the Man to contact me directly & maybe they might let me go & have a look
He used to be a deputy Head of a local School she says.

Don't think the Mooseheart is masonic, but it is from an organisation that started out in the USA.

I remembered being told there was a underground bunker behind the building it was used for a storage.
