Hi all, York Uni are coming to stay at Penwyllt for a week from the 21st March. Requests for midweek trips have already flushed out a few willing volunteers but they'd be grateful for anyone who can take them on something on the weekend of 21st/22nd. Since this is a committee weekend I'm sure there will be plenty of you around, why not earn the undying gratitude of some enthusiastic young people?
Second, Newport Outdoor Group have been in touch with the club, asking for a presentation about caving (on Mon Apr 6th) and then a follow-up caving trip, for complete novices, on the 25th or 26th April. As this is the weekend before our AGM I suspect that the cottage will be deathly quiet and we are about to suggest that they come up with some alternative dates, but if you can do something for them that weekend then let me know.
