I could barely hide my excitement when I heard the door buzzer go this morning, my colleague collected the post and handed me a small package......Trembling with anticipation I sliced open the sellotape and surprised myself at how small and compact it was, I had to check I hadn't ordered the wrong lamp, I momentarily blinded myself by foolishly switching it on whilst looking into the lens 8)
Tried out the little 'Don't panic' emergency light, words can't express how cool this little gizmo is!
Work temporarily stopped in my office as my co-workers crowded round my desk to get a glimpse at what was getting me so excited although they soon returned to their work stations when I said it cost ?400
"Not anywhere near as much as a Scurion" I blurted out defensively "About the same price as the basic model and easily outshines that one" as if they had any idea what I was waffling on about.....Now just need to get it mounted to a suitable helmet and fiddle around with the programming, it's going to be a long couple of weeks before I get to take this baby underground.
