The 2025 Conference is now being planned and talks and trips are being sought from cavers and miners interested in the area. The Conference venue is in the Conwy Valley so is close to some metal mines and not too far from slate mines/quarries as well. Organisation of the conference is in the hands of the NAMHO officers with help from the Hidden Earth team and cavers based in the region. The theme has not yet been fixed but will certainly involve "Mining in North Wales" ("Mwyngloddio yng Ngogledd Cymru") in some form or other.
The conference will be held over the weekend 28th-29th June 2025 with field trips over the weekend as well as before and after the conference.
Anyone interested in helping can contact the organising team at conforg@namho.org. Further details about the venue will be released when they have been confirmed. At this stage, it can be added that the venue has camping on-site together with "proper" toilets and showers, and a bar!
Finally, the webmaster has been rightly criticised for the quality of his English to Welsh translation. If someone can offer to help with translation or checking Google translations, that would be appreciated.
