That is not the entrance to Nancy Camel's Hole. (Actually, it could be.... is the photo 90degrees to the left - i.e. not the right way up?).

Was it full of poo? Did it smell of poo? Were there lots of curled-out poos in it? Did you poo in it?
If the answers are:
yes.

no,... or yes.
Then, yes, it is Nancy Cameltoe's Hole.
And, yes, you can dig it, if you want to although I expect there's some law against it if not now or in the future then certainly in the past.

For your infomation Nancy Camels Hole is an active dig. Since last autumn, John Walsh, Mark Howden & myself, Mike Willett, have been excavating in the cave (hence, the digging debris etc), looking for a way on.
Perhaps you should check the details before you give your permission (with what authority anyway?) & encourage somebody to pirate our dig, Captain Chris.
And yes, the photo is of Nancy Camels - though taken from the cliff above.
P.S There is, of course, no poo...that carry-on stopped a few decades ago.

So there was a caveat in that statement.
That caveat appears to be the fact that you are digging it.(all be it not a genuine law but an a "caver law")
Perhaps you should check the details.....
Where then Mike is the mendip database on who is digging what apart from, as tony says the obvious "that it appears to be being actively dug"

nice to see that i have started a hole load of poo. i think i have got my question answered. and don't worry I'm not gonna pirate your dig, i was just interested as i live in shepton. hows the dig coming along going anywhere yet. have you partially blocked the archway on the right when you enter the cave.
