New Inn Clapham

I Have just read in descent that the new inn has been purchased by Enterprise inns. This is not good news as a reguler haunt for cavers in derbyshire was purchased by them and it has turned to complete and utter shyte and it is not the only one in the area. GOD SAVE THE CARTOONS.

Relax, it's fine. Martin & Rene, who have managed the place for several years on behalf of Keith and Barbara, have taken on the lease from Enterprise Inns. I enjoyed several pints of excellent ale in there two evenings ago and, apart from Keith and Barbara not popping into the bar late evening, there was absolutely no difference from normal.

That is absolutely brilliant news i didnt know the people who ran it personally but have spent many an happy hour in there and that is really good news to hear. ( bet the cartoons are relieved as well as Jim ).
