Heh... I obviously joined early!  :blink:

I joined Wessex following the logic below:
I live in Exeter - The Devon mob, whilst local don't have much local cave so most of their caving seems to be done as weekend trips if you believe their website. I can't do weekends often because of work but single day trips are easy if reasonably local - hence a mendip club

I picked WCC as I had been on trips with them nutters previously in North Wales when I was a Grosvenor member. They seemed like a friendly if completely barking bunch 

That said all the nutters from other Mendip clubs have been friendly too I just stuck with what I knew!

And they do have a most splendid storage shed in the corner of their car park....
