    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

I know Chesterfield CC do a fair bit in Stoney - are you going to dig it out? ;)

Sorry, only just seen this - must of been on holiday at the time of OP.

Quick answer is no. Squalid and horrible towards the end. We did open the timbered shaft from bottom of main shaft, this leads to stream chamber which comes in from Streaks and goes out to Merlins (possibly?) We did insert a diver, but there had been movement in the boulders and he was too big to get thru.

We also had a look under the grill in Didsbury, there's a faint possibility of chemically enlarging a tiny rift.......but it seems too much like hard work at the moment.

Meanwhile, we're chasing a draught in another cave..............
