Hope you enjoyed the video, I can’t upload it here, but for audio description shows me 12 days ago (on a trip with Vulcan and a Dutch guy) coming through feet first. It was still a good trip, always a good trip - never been on a trip where I’ve needed to bail it, but always a first!

As offered on the chat, a load of us could go though and use the pattay to lower it from the speedwell side should the trip want to go ahead - we’d get the duck lowered in no time emptying it from both sides.

Shame you cant share the video, it was quite a good one! How much did you have to lower the water level by to get airspace?

Approx A foot and a half depth over approx 5m^2 surface area. To mix imperial and metric!

A foot and a half is not far off half a meter.
Over 5m^2 that's a volume of 2.5 m^3.
There are 1000 litres in a cubic meter.

We were in speedwell today and went to have a look at CAW and from the looks of it the start from JH is a crawl for a few meters and then the duck is basically a very muddy puddle currently which is really easy to pass.

The connection has been open for at least 3 months, I’ve been through it several times and it’s been almost completely dry.
